John F. Kennedy

John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States, still ranks highly in public opinion ratings of ex-presidents.

To celebrate his birthday -- May 29, 1917 – here are some of his memorable lines. Enjoy them and put them work, learn from them, gain inspiration from them and share them with friends, family and co-workers.

Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.

Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction.

Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.

Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men.

Things do not happen. Things are made to happen.

The greater our knowledge increases the more our ignorance unfolds.

Sometimes, the words of another person can help you keep perspective, challenge you, inspire you, energize you, or just make you think.
Do you have a favorite John F. Kennedy book quote that motivates and inspires you?
