10 Places to Get Free Kindle Books

Although there are many e-readers, right now Kindle seems to have the most buzz. And if you don’t have a Kindle e-reader, you can get an app that allows you to use other devices to read books formatted for and available at Amazon’s Kindle store: Free Kindle Reading App.
Here are 10 places to load up your Kindle (or browser, smart phone, or tablet with the Kindle app):

1.    AmazonBest Sellers – you’ll see 2 columns of book covers, the one on the right is the top 100 free Kindle Books

3.   Hundred Zeros

4.   eReaderIQ

6.   Many Books

7.   Power Reads

9.  There are also a number of sites where you can borrow Kindle books, including BookLending, eBookFling, Lendle and LendingEBook.

10. Speaking of lending, if your library subscribes to Overdrive, you can borrow Kindle books just like you borrow paper books. You can find out if your library subscribes by going to (second column).

NOTE: many of these sites also offer free books compatible with other popular eReaders such as Nook.
